[Open Ears] May 18 - Bar room concert hall

 This week we have something a little different, even for us. Tuesday, May
18, the Open Ears Music Series will present newly composed music by young
and living composers. There will be pieces for saxophone, flute, cello, and
others and combinations thereof. Compositions by Lindsey Jacob, Nick Hwang,
J. Corey Knoll, David Cortello and others. All of this, in the cool space of
the Blue Nile Balcony Room.

The Open Ears Music Series consists of weekly concerts of interesting music,
often of the improvised variety. The performances are on Tuesdays, at The
Blue Nile Balcony Room, 532 Frenchmen St. NOLA All shows are scheduled to
start at 10 PM, and will likely be finished by midnight or shortly
thereafter, so don't be too late. There is no cover charge. We want everyone
that wants to listen to be able to. There is an encouraged donation.
Whatever you can contribute is appreciated. All money donated will go to the
